Save the Babies

Other Ways to Give

Yes, I want to save babies! Your gift matters.

Your financial help makes PROLIFE Across AMERICA’s life-saving ads possible. There are many ways you can be a part of our Media Mission and join us in saving babies’ lives.

Planned Giving

Charitable gifts make an impact after your lifetime.

Donors considering a Planned Gift want to leave their assets to charities that have a long history and demonstrate accountability by using donated funds prudently. Since 1989, PROLIFE Across AMERICA has been dedicated to changing hearts and saving babies’ lives. We are committed to bringing positive, persuasive messages, offering information and alternatives – including adoption – and post abortion assistance to those in need. You can be assured your bequest will be used wisely, given our history of putting over 90% of donations directly toward Media Education.

Some ways to donate through a Planned Gift:

  • Wills and Bequests – You provide for a future gift to a charity by including a provision in your will or trust. Bequests provide you with continued control of your assets during your lifetime and can provide tax benefits to your estates and heirs.
  • Life Insurance – There are two options:
    1. You can transfer ownership of the policy to the organization either paid-in-full or for which you continue making premium
payments. The transfer is a present donation for which a charitable deduction may be taken.
    2. You can designate the organization as a beneficiary of the proceeds of the policy.
  • Named Beneficiary Designations (Financial Accounts, IRAs/Qualified Retirement Funds) – Provide for a future gift to a charity by naming the charity as a beneficiary of your financial accounts or retirement funds. You continue to use the account as long as you need to while potentially lowering estate taxes.

Donors who have already made a Planned Gift to PROLIFE Across AMERICA or choose to make a new Planned Gift in one of the ways above have the option of being enrolled in our Culture of Life Legacy Society. Please let us know of your plans by completing the Declaration of Support form.

Wills and Bequests

Creating a Will or Trust is an opportunity to help those people and organizations that mean the most to you and to potentially reduce the tax burden on your heirs. It is a chance to create your vision for the future and to think about the values you hope to pass on to future generations. A will provides for your financial security today while providing a lasting legacy by directing financial assistance to those people who need it and to the organizations that are special to you.

If you die without a will, your property will be taxed and distributed according to the rules and formulas of your state’s laws.

Creating a Will: Meet with an attorney to direct the gifts of your property to those you choose and in a tax-efficient manner.

Already Have a Will? Review your will every couple years to make sure life events like marriages, births, deaths or personal circumstances don’t require you to amend it to reflect your situation today.

Is our mission important to you?

If you include PROLIFE Across AMERICA in your will by specifying the organization will receive a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate as a bequest, you:

  • Will be providing a lasting contribution that will help us continue to change hearts and save babies’ lives through our Billboards, Radio Ads, and Internet Ads.
  • Donors who have already have planned a bequest to PROLIFE Across AMERICA in an existing will or trust or will be making a Planned Gift through a bequest in a Will or Trust have the option of being enrolled in our Culture of Life Legacy Society. Please let us know of your plans by completing the Declaration of Support form.

Life Insurance

There are two approaches to use a Life Insurance Policy in your Planned Giving:

  1. You can transfer ownership of the policy to the organization either paid-in-full or for which you continue making premium payments by way of donations to the organization.
  2. You can designate the organization as a beneficiary of the proceeds of the life insurance policy.

Benefits of a Gift of Life Insurance:

  • If transferring ownership, the transfer of the policy is a present donation for which a charitable deduction may be taken and each of your continued premium payments if applicable is considered a charitable contribution deductible to the full extent of the law.
  • You can continue to use financial accounts as long as you need them. Even after designating a beneficiary, you can continue to use your account and take distributions or withdrawals as needed.

It provides financial support to the causes you care about. It should reduce the tax impact on your estate.

Each approach is simple to arrange and, if naming an organization as a beneficiary, you can change your designations as often as needed.

How to make a Beneficiary Designation

Contact your insurance agent or provider and ask them how to arrange the transfer of ownership of the policy or ask them to send you a new beneficiary form. Complete the form, sign it and mail it back as directed.

Donors who have already planned a gift to PROLIFE Across AMERICA using Life Insurance or will be making a Planned Gift using Life Insurance have the option of being enrolled in our Culture of Life Legacy Society. Please let us know of your plans by completing the Declaration of Support form.
