Dear Friends,

I’m excited to be writing to you for the first time as the new President of PROLIFE Across AMERICA! I have been working with my Mom, Mary Ann Kuharski, for several years and I’m excited to continue our mission of changing hearts and saving babies’ lives into the future!

The mission of PROLIFE Across AMERICA is so important to me. My husband Adam and I are blessed to have seven kids, and we want to build up a Culture of Life for their generation. I see PROLIFE Across AMERICA’s Billboards and Ads as integral to this – each Ad has the potential to help someone realize the truth about life before birth AND to provide help to those struggling with an unexpected pregnancy.

A supporter once shared with us:

“I sometimes think, how worse off would our culture be if there had never been the thousands of PROLIFE Across AMERICA Billboards over the last 37 years?” 

Great point! That’s why our Mission will remain unchanged.

I see firsthand how we’re changing lives in the Hotline calls I answer at our office. Just last week I received this call from a woman in the Philadelphia area:

“I’m 12 weeks along and don’t know why I’m calling or what I need. I’m just scared and need help. I know I’m going to keep the baby but I’m just sad about my situation and not sure how I’m going to do this.”

I spent time listening and then reassuring her about the ups and downs of a difficult pregnancy. After, I gave her a referral to a life care center in her local area where she can receive ongoing, life-affirming support.

It is calls like this that remind us that we can reach one person at a time—and give them a lifeline of hope when they need it the most.

As one of John and Mary Ann Kuharski’s kids, I essentially “grew up” with PROLIFE Across AMERICA, helping prepare mailings alongside my siblings! In 2015, I began serving as PROLIFE Across AMERICA’s Website and Project Manager, and later I took on more roles like Banquet Coordinator, Marketing Manager, and, most recently, the Associate Director. 

I previously worked for HealthEast Care System (now Fairview) for 14 years as their Interactive Communications Manager. I led a team and was responsible for managing a robust marketing strategy plan, which has provided applicable experience to my new role at PROLIFE Across AMERICA.
